Cat Cloning Presents

A Unique Opportunity

Services We Provide: Cat Cloning

The bond with a beloved cat is truly special – a unique companionship that fills our homes and hearts. For many, a cat isn't just a pet; they're a cherished family member. The thought of losing that bond can be unbearable. At Nexuspetai, we understand this profound connection, and we offer a service born of hope and commitment: Cat Cloning.

We believe in making the joy of companionship last longer. Our advanced cloning technology aims to recreate your feline friend, allowing you to experience the unique presence and love that only your cat can provide.

You might be wondering: "How does cat cloning work, and will the cloned cat truly be like my original?" The answer is a resounding yes! Our process is designed to produce a genetically identical twin, sharing the same inherent attributes, including temperament, appearance, and specific traits that made your original cat so special.

The Cat Cloning Process at Nexuspetai

At Nexuspetai, we have refined the cat cloning process to be as straightforward and effective as possible.

1. Genetic Preservation (GP): The Foundation of Cloning

The first crucial step is to obtain a genetic sample from your cat.

  • If your cat is currently living: Your veterinarian can collect a small tissue sample through a simple biopsy procedure. From this sample, we culture millions of new cells, all sharing the same genetic identity as your pet. These cells are then cryopreserved through our Gene Preservation (GP) service, ensuring their viability for future cloning at any time you choose.
  • If your cat has recently passed away, Time is of the essence, but cloning may still be possible.
  • Immediately wrap your cat's body in a moist towel and refrigerate it at 2 °C to 8 °C.
  • If refrigeration of the entire body isn't feasible, carefully remove one ear, wrap it in a sterilized cloth, and refrigerate it.
  • If refrigeration is not possible, place ice cubes directly on your cat's body and replenish them as needed.
  • Crucially, contact Nexuspetai as soon as possible. Our team will guide you through the next steps to maximize the chances of successful cell collection.

2. The Cloning Procedure

Once we have a viable cell line:

  • We take a somatic cell (from your preserved sample) and fuse it with an enucleated oocyte (an egg cell with its nucleus removed) from a donor cat.
  • This creates a cloned embryo, which is then carefully transferred into a surrogate mother cat.
  • The surrogate mother carries the pregnancy to term, resulting in the birth of your cat's genetic twin.
